Deere Announces Layoffs at Ottumwa Plant (KCRG-TV9 Cedar Rapids)

OTTUMWA (AP) - Deere & Co. has announced it will lay off 40 workers at its plant in Ottumwa. Public Relations Director Ken Golden confirmed the layoffs on Tuesday. The cuts will take effect April 20. The company says production workers with the least experience are in line for the layoffs.
