23 teachers in Palm Springs Unified to be sent layoff notices (The Desert Sun)

The Palm Springs Unified School District will send initial layoff notices to 23 teachers, four counselors and two deans, in addition to other budget cuts, in an effort to bridge an $8.5 million budget gap left by decreased state funding.
