Adrian school officials: District faces deficit, but layoffs are not imminent (The Daily Telegram)
State budget cuts will force the Adrian school district to operate at a deficit this year and draw down its reserves to an estimated $563,893, school board members were told Monday night. But unlike many Lenawee County school districts, Adrian is not planning any midyear layoffs.
