Air Canada Layoffs (AM640 Toronto Radio)

Air Canada is swinging the axe laying off more than 1,000 machinist. It’ll be a two tier layoff; some leaving in April, others in June and nearly 200 of the layoffs will be permanent. Those hit had been working under contract with Aveos Fleet Performance.
