Blues membership off 6% amid layoffs (Crain’s Detroit Business)
Primarily due to the poor economy and layoffs in the auto industry, total membership in Blue Cross group accounts dropped 6 percent, bringing membership in groups and individual products to 4.46 million, down from 4.69 million in 2008.
