BREAKING NEWS: County delays layoffs until August (The Ridgecrest Daily Independent)

China Lake, Calif. - Chairman Jon McQuiston and Supervisor Michael Rubio were the dissenting votes. The supervisors agreed to postpone the layoffs until budget hearings were held and a list of priorities could be formed. The tentative date for layoffs is Aug. 1.
