Companies’ layoffs top 300 (Louisville Courier-Journal)

Three Southern Indiana industries have disclosed layoffs affecting more than 300 employees since the first of the year as the impact of the national recession spreads: Beach Mold and Tool Inc. in New Albany laid off 193 employees this month, primarily because of the slowdown in the auto industry, owner Bill Beach said.
