COPS grant finalized, spares GH Police Department officer layoff (Peninsula Gateway)
It’s been a long time coming, but the Gig Harbor Police Department now knows it won’t lose one of its officers due to budget cuts. Officer Joe Hicks, whose position was scheduled for elimination next month, has been spared by a COPS Hiring Recovery Program grant.
