Lake Elsinore Unified School District board votes to send more than 300 layoff notices (The Press-Enterprise)

A reluctant Lake Elsinore Unified School District board voted Thursday to send preliminary layoff notices to more than 300 employees and teachers, but vowed to negotiate with teachers and employees’ unions to spare as many jobs as possible.
