Layoffs, cutbacks in offing (Worcester Telegram & Gazette)
SHREWSBURY - Town Manager Daniel F. Morgado has released a proposed fiscal 2010 budget that shows several layoffs and an unprecedented reduction in spending, bringing the number of town employees below the 1998 level.
