Layoffs, furloughs in future for Kane employees? (The St. Charles Sun)

County-wide layoffs, furloughs and unpaid holidays were presented Wednesday as possible cost-saving measures for Kane County. Members of the Special Budget Task Force continued their search for cost-cutting measures to offset a 4.5 percent reduction in revenue estimated for 2010 and to meet cuts to this year’s budgets.
