LBUSD issues more layoff notices, adds furloughs for managers (Long Beach Press-Telegram)
LONG BEACH - The Long Beach Board of Education on Tuesday decided to issue layoff warning notices to more teachers and order most managers to take three unpaid furlough days next academic year as part of a budget-balancing plan.
