Local legislators want layoffs be accompanied by job help (The Chippewa Herald)
When a business announces layoffs, it should also tell employees where and how to get services from the local Job Center and Workforce Resource offices. A pair of local legislators would like to turn that “should” into a “must” with a new state law.
