Mamaroneck schools eye layoffs amid budget woes (The Journal News)
MAMARONECK - Faced with a reduction of about $1 million in state aid compared to this year, and other plummeting sources of revenue, school officials are considering a number of cost-cutting measures for the 2009-10 school year, including some 50 layoffs and larger class sizes.
