More Than 1,100 Workers On Layoff List (KHON 2 Honolulu)

Gov. Linda Lingle has sent a list of names to two public worker unions about possible layoffs to balance the state budget. The governor is seeking savings of $786 million over the next two fiscal years due to a drop in tax revenue projections.
