North Clackamas School District Will Cut Almost 6 Percent of Teachers (Skanner)
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The North Clackamas School District has sent layoff notices to 60 teachers, as school is scheduled to begin Sept. 8. The cuts announced Friday affect 26 elementary teachers and 34 middle and high school teachers. Nearly half face reduced hours rather than a layoff.
