Possibility of layoffs for local Penelec workers discounted by company official (The Bradford Era)
The possibility of layoffs for local Penelec workers was discounted Thursday by a company official. Scott Surgeoner, Penelec spokesman, explained that the company has taken several steps this year to cut costs while keeping business operations at high quality in light of the struggling economy.
