Reports of Layoffs at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club Home Office (KFSM Ft. Smith-Fayetteville)
The Morning News is reporting Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. began laying off 700 employees at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club home offices this morning. 5NEWS spoke with Ed Clifford, president of the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce. He says he has heard about the layoffs, but cannot confirm any details.
