Sheriff predicts layoffs for deputies (The State Journal-Register)

There will be layoffs in the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office now that patrol deputies have rejected a continuation of changes to their contract that they’d agreed to six months ago, Sheriff Neil Williamson said Thursday.
