Swift Temper wins Ruffian off short layoff (Thoroughbred Times)
Returning on short rest was no problem for Swift Temper on Saturday at Belmont Park as she wore down Go for Wand Handicap (G1) winner Seventh Street and shook free to a 1 3/4-length victory in the $300,000 Ruffian Handicap (G1).
