Toronto stock market rises, traders take in heavy slate of economic data

TORONTO - The Toronto stock market advanced Thursday as traders wade through a series of U.S. economic data. The S&P/TSX composite index rose 32.77 points to 13,382.54, led by gains in the badly beaten-down gold sector.
