Townsend official: Salary freeze, layoffs are on the table (Sentinel & Enterprise)
TOWNSEND — Town officials are considering a salary freeze, health care cuts and even layoffs to make up for the loss of more than half a million dollars in state aid, according to Town Administrator Greg Barnes.
