Valley cities hail Congressman’s offer of financial help to prevent layoffs (The Desert Sun)

Coachella Valley cities facing multimillion-dollar budget deficits on Wednesday welcomed a new House bill from a California congressman that would provide nearly $100 billion to help cities, states and other public agencies prevent layoffs.
