Volvo Cars freezes salaries to avoid more layoffs (Zawya)
STOCKHOLM, Mar 12, 2009 (AFP) - Beleaguered Swedish automaker Volvo Cars said Thursday it would freeze the salaries of all employees and slash executive pay in an attempt to avoid further layoffs.
