Warren firefighters’ deal would halt layoffs (Tribune Chronicle)

WARREN - A tentative agreement between the administration and the union that represents the city’s firefighters has averted two layoffs in the Fire Department that were set for today. Human Resources Director Gary Cicero said he did not want to divulge details of the agreement before the union votes on it Sunday other than to say that firefighters did agree to some concessions.
